Sound & Fury case study

Background

This is one of my own pet projects and the idea was conceived when a friend of mine visited from the UK. Over a pub lunch at the Mussel Inn in Golden Bay, we discussed the high level of automotive craftsmanship still available in New Zealand, and saw an opportunity to export superbly rebodied Austin 7 specials back to the UK, where there has been a renewed interest in cars from this era.

The logo

In the UK, where it's hard to drive over 50mph, due to congestion or the risk of a fine, we felt there was a market for a car where doing 40mph was exhilarating. The job of the logo was to capture that idea of fun - that driving one of these cars will literally put a grin on your face. And the concept of fun runs through both the flyer and the website.

With a demonstrator currently in the UK, Sound & Fury is open for business! If you have time and you're interested, check out the page at www.sound-and-fury.co.uk.
