Nigel Perks runs a safari business in Tanzania and has recently been voted one of the top safari guides in Africa. Now working out of his home country, New Zealand, Nigel was wanting to expand his business by also offering tours in New Zealand. The challenge was how to communicate this offer when his business was called Nigel Perks Safari.
The solution was to rename his business Nigel Perks Discovery and create two subbranded operating companies: Nigel Perks Safari and Nigel Perks New Zealand.
Nigel operates at the exclusive end of the tourism market and personally guides all his tours. The use of his signature in the logo gives his personal endorsement while the choice of copper as the main colour reinforces the quality message.
As Nigel is a keen photographer it seemed obvious to use some of his shots for the stationery. This look was carried over to the new website which was designed to look clean and professional. We restructured and rewrote his current website to make it more accessible and easier to navigate while taking the opportunity to inject some fun with a photographic competition and Nigel's ‘Bush Tips’.
